Thursday 21st June

It's a rainy day today and Kirsten and Kaci got drenched! Outside our houses it looked like a swamp! We are trying very hard on our Olympic work. Yesterday we were all working on iPads making movies on iMovie. We are undertaking interviews from
Olympic athletes from the 2012 Olympic games.

The Class Dojo points system is working really well for all classes. When we were first introduced to Class Dojo points, we laughed our heads off!

Jack has made an excellent Olympic game, too! Everyone else is still working very hard on their Olympic game. There are some pictures of how we are all doing with our games below. We have been working very hard on our Olympic games.

Jamie thinks that the Olympic games
are really interesting. Jasmine really likes the Olympic game making because she can make the game and play the game as well. Kasey likes the Olympic game making because it is very cool.

Please leave us a comment.

The bloggers of the week are Chelsea and Abbie!

Today is our test day! Lots of us have been working very hard to be the best we can be. We would love it if you would post comments. Alicia thought that the 'test was quite easy.' Chelsea said that as well.

Lily thought that it was quite good and that people took their time and enjoyed doing it because they were working on their own.

Our topic this term is the Olympics. We are making factfiles about famous athletes then we are going to make a movie about them.

Our homework routine is really good say Paige and Lily. Ipads are great says Chelsea. The whole class are using these iPads and we all think that it is a great way to help us to work and all of us can use them to play games, find interesting facts and find existing ways of working as a team.
Alicia likes everything, especially literacy. Jasmine likes Art and Literacy. Kirsten likes Numeracy, doing division, times tables and addition. Jamie likes doing the math tests and doing literacy.

We will be using our blogging skills to keep you informed of our progress. Don't forget to post us a comment to let us know what you think

Chelsea, Abbie and out!

We want to do really well in the brand new attendance race. To win this we must make sure we come to school everyday! Let's do it 3CA

3CA's New Blog

Keep visiting this page to find out what is going on in Year 3!

We have started the term with a new topic on the Olympic Games. We are using our ipads to research information about famous and current Olympic. athletes.

Wednesday is test day!

It is Wednesday .... Phew!!! A lot of hard work today. Tests, tests, everywhere. Two reading tests and two answer sheets. They were hard but they where fun. Chelsea thought they where easy, but she's crackers so she does not mean it. Lily thought that it was alright.

We are filming our Olympic athlete fact files this afternoon. When we've perfected them, we'll put them on the blog to show the world.

One Perfect Sentence

Everyday we are going to make one perfect sentence with nouns, adjectives, connectives ,verbs and adverbs.

This is Chelsea's work.

The small, curly haired, funny boy went running quickly into his very big high school.

This is Abbie's sentence:

The cute, long haired boy named Jake, smiled as he walked slowly into his cool school in France.

Please post some comments about our sentences. How to improve them would be nice for starters!
